Wadi Glass manufactures specialty and standard glass bottles and jars, reflecting the needs of our customers, which are primarily small and medium-sized companies. Wadi Glass was established after studies showed that bottles and jars manufactured locally were not meeting quality standards.
Hence in 2005, Wadi Holdings partnered with Mr. Samih Sawiris, Hwa Hsia Glass Company in Taiwan and Jochenlee Molds & Machine MFG in Singapore to establish Wadi Glass Containers in Egypt . The factory furnace was lit in January 2007 and production started by the end of that same month. The plant is located on 60,000 m2 of land in Sadat City.
Since then, Wadi Glass fulfills orders not only to the local Egyptian market but to other markets as well. To date, 80% of its total production goes to Spain , Portugal , UK , USA , Italy , Greece , Lebanon , Syria , and Libya .
